What Will Your Initial Sessions Consist Of?

Picture

Session 1: A Solid Foundation For History Success

Take a Proprietary Learning Styles & Interests Questionnaire.
Relating historical subject matter to each student’s interests results in greater engagement throughout the learning process.

Explore Personalized Relaxation Techniques.
As a certified resilience coach, Nick trains each student in the art of self-care to weather stress related to learning history.

Maintain a Notebook.
This is crucial to record and organize Nick's winning strategies for history success. If the student is an aural learner, Nick will emphasize the importance of him or her speaking these techniques into a recorder and listening to them on a regular basis.

Learn "Nick’s Comprehensive Guide for Historical Retention."
Reviewing and memorizing these time-tested strategies empowers students to quickly and easily boost their history grades.

Homework Diagnostic.
Before the first session concludes, students will be assigned an abbreviated diagnostic exam under time constraints, relaxation technique practice, and will need to obtain a silent watch and workbook.

Subsequent Sessions: Growing Stellar Math Scores

Diagnostic Review.
Students will review the results of their math diagnostic exam with Nick. Together, they will then draft an individualized lesson plan with specific goals that address the areas in which improvement is needed.

Ongoing Practice & Feedback.
Homework in the form of practice exams and other assignments will be assigned regularly. These assignments are accompanied by progress reports and student feedback surveys.
